ORDS Auto REST over tables from locked account

ORDS 20.3, Oracle 19c.

I have enabled Auto REST over some of the tables, owned by HR user.

It works fine in development environment, but we have a requirement to lock the HR user in production. (The data are being access by the special user HR_USER). I have tried to lock the user and when I call the REST API, I get the error:

ORDS was unable to make a connection to the database. This can occur if the database is unavailable, the maximum number of sessions has been reached or the pool is not correctly configured. The connection pool named: |apex|pu| had the following error(s): ORA-28000: The account is locked.

Is there an option to work around this? The only option which comes to my mind for now is to create wrapper PL/SQL packages on HR tables under HR_USER, but it obviously complicates the development of the new REST API endpoints.
