Notebook server not starting in OML Home - gives error "Application Error, please contact support"

As said in the title - when I try to open a file in the OML User Interface it starts to load the ML server but then lands on an error screen saying there's an application error. Users have full permissions and it was all working only a few hours beforehand with nothing touched on OCI or OML between it working and not working.
