Should I be able to deploy other WAR files on WebLogic with APEX?

We tried to deploy a separate J2EE application's WAR file on WebLogic alongside APEX but it seems that we cannot access the application through the expected port, no matter what we try.

Should this work in theory? Is there any consideration we might be missing?

The short answer is yes. We do this all the time. Make sure your WebLogic version is supported with the ORDS version you are trying to use. Have a look a this MOS document:
