How PeopleSoft process can be executed in Control-M through Unix script?

PeopleSoft batch scheduling tool is being migrated from Autosys to Control-M. Autosys executes PeopleSoft process as unix script using Autosys Adapter and not as "PeopleSoft job type". However, control-m doesn't have similar adapter to execute PS process from unix script. We still want to use unix scripts to execute PeopleSoft process as they additional code lines other than executing the process. Please let me if anyone had any success in running PS process through unix script in Contorl-M using API calls or any other method.
