Form using webutil and jacob.jar

schubach Member Posts: 9 Blue Ribbon

I have a form using webutil and jacob.jar on Forms I have signed jacob.jar using jarsigner utilty using a trusted certificate but the first time that anyone accesses the application on each client, they get the scary warning shown below that it can't verify whether the certiicate was revoked. Do you know what I might be doing wrong?

This is generally the result of using a self-generated certificate and/or one that has an expired digital signature. If the CA of the certificate is not known then validating the cert becomes limited. We recommend using a known and trusted CA, for example Thawte, Comodo, DigiCert and so many others.

Also, verify that validity date of the user cert (the top one in the tree of the image you shared) is value/current and has not expired. Similar would be true of the intermediate and root certs.
