What is oracle session how it works?

If Two users are connected with two different Username but same database orcl at same time.
One Developer is altering the Table1 structure and same Table1 is droping by another user. What will happen.
Can you please elaborate the Session in Oracle DB with using login users.

A table lock is acquired to ensure that only one person can perform DDL on that table at a time.
