Hi,
Does does some know how the Java mapping name works?
How to read JDK8u33 and 1.8.0_201?
What is the naming relation between JDK8u33 and 1.8.0_201?
Kind Regards.

java version "1.8.0_311"
Thus in this situation, it is JDK 8u311. Am I still correct?
Yes, that's right.

I would say 8u33 is equal to 1.8.0_33.
I your example it is not clear if 1.8.0_201 is a JDK or a JRE. That should be stated as well for comparison.

I have here an example:
---
[[email protected]:oracle]$ $ORACLE_HOME/jdk/bin/java -version
java version "1.8.0_311"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_311-b11)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.311-b11, mixed mode)
[[email protected]:oracle]$
---
Thus in this situation, it is JDK 8u311. Am I still correct?
