Logical To Relational Engineer - Relation FK Attributes Name Not Retained
So this continuation to question recently posted.
I have two attributes in entity that were created through relations. This entity is intersecting entity to M:M relationship and thus has two parents. When I engineer to relational model 1. First FK attribute is created as column but datatype is not correct 2. There is additional column called {column} which matches datatype of first FK attribute. 3. Second FK attribute is created but has Name of {column}2.
Can't figure out why this is happening. Thanks

Similar issue here where new relations are not created properly the first time they are engineered. Have you tried engineering a couple of times?
I have also found disabling name translation helps

Hi Max. Appreciate your response as thought it was me. Although still not sure if this is bug or me as seems so fundamental to be bug that people live with or developers have missed.
