Relational Model - Cannot Move Relationship Lines On SubView Diagram

I have relational model subview diagram, I am not able to perform actions on relationship line between tables such as move line, move endpoints. The right click menu has Straighten Line and Add Elbow dimmed out. Why are all these standard features disabled?
Eg for moving endpoint, I get cross hairs, but then endpoint does not move.
I followed instruction as per Jeff Smith article
Configuring Display of Model Relationships in Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler (thatjeffsmith.com)
I can move tables around, so is not like diagram in locked/read only.

you need to add intermediate point in order to be able to move the line

Thanks for response.
Think figured out issue. Diagram had Right Menu --> Layout --> Auto Route on.
When turn this off, previously disabled options such as Straighten Line and Add Elbow are available. So appears to be related to this setting.
