Yes, JET v10 Release Notes covered the statement of moving away from the abandoned Cordova project and toward PWA (Progressive Web Application).

The Google Play store allows for PWA deployment today

Until Apple decides to move into the modern age, you should be able to use other technologies like Capacitor from Ionic to build your PWA into an .ipa file for Apple App store deployments.

There are many other solutions for building mobile applications that may need tighter hardware integration for which PWA hasn't developed the feature yet, or where Apple has decided not to implement the feature.

We will officially post a deprecation notice for Cordova support with the JET v13 release this July (2022).
