Unable to call a webservice in my Integratedweblogic Server.

Hi Team,

I'm using jdev 12.2.1.3.0. In my application i have a scenario to call a webservice .While doing testing in my local jdev i'm unable to call it getting the below error. Even i have tried importing the certificate using keytool -importcert , certificate was added to keystore.still facing the same.Please do let me know your suggestions how to to fix this?

Caused by: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

1. Get InstallCert.java from https://github.com/escline/InstallCert

2. Add Trusted Keystore

Run InstallCert.java, with your hostname and https port, and press 1 when ask for input. It will add your localhost as a trusted keystore, and generates a file jssecacerts

3. Verify Trusted Keystore

Try run the InstallCert command again, the connection should be ok now.

4. Copy jssecacerts

Copy the generated jssecacerts file to your $JAVA_HOME\jre\lib\security folder.

Do you use some kind of security in your call?

All I see in the stack trace is a general DSL handshake error.

How do you call the web service?

It's it configured to use SSL?

Was the 4. applied.

Copy the generated jssecacerts file to your $JAVA_HOME\jre\lib\security folder.

Better to run the 1. to 4. again.

The server you are connecting to is not present or isn't responding.

Haven't tested installing certs, which is usually complicated by the fact that intermediate certificates may be involved. Could be a ROOT certificate. Using this certificate you may have signed an intermediate certificate. Then issue a server certificate and sign it with an intermediate certificate.
