what's going on jdk on Solaris (x86 & Sparc®)?

Randall BAug 24 2022

Hi all, hopefully this is the right place to find some answers or clues.
I have searched everywhere but seems that there is no java jdk/jre binaries for Solaris either X86 or Sparc® for version 17 or 18 (just for version 8 and 11 (on Sparc)).
The same goes on openjdk.org. I wonder if Oracle is phasing out jdk/jre of Solaris or just focusing (meanwhile) on desktops for later server release.
Does anybody know what's going on? Have clues that can be shared?

Yup, that's a known NetBeans issue..have a look here https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=268476

I had the same problem some time ago and because this didn't get any traction I had to switch to Eclipse where it's all working fine (so, not a Java ME issue but rather a NetBeans plugin one).
