DB - 12.1.0.2
GG - 19c
Q1. We have plan to move the existing GG configuration( configured in DB Server) in existing HUB sever. At present GG configured in Database server and will move into GG Hub Server. for this case do we need to do initial load when there is no movement of Database Server. Can't we configure the GG in Hub and give the hostname and details of HUB Server and not do to initial load for this activity, please adivse.
Q2. Have to upgrade the Database from 12c to 19c ver on Same Server. Can we use goldengate for this activity, If Yes please share the link or Doc Id.

Initial Load not needed. This is just migration of OGG.

Assuming that you are using Integrated Extract, it is recommended to unregister the Extract before upgrading of DB and register it back post upgrade of DB.
