ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P006

Hi

I'm using Oracle9i.
i got this error when i'm trying to execute the procedure through our front-end application. what this could be?

ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P006
ORA-01502: index 'INSIGHT.DAY_ACT_IDX_04' or

any idea, i have no idea what means this.

please i'll appreciate your help.

The problem is from ORA-01502
Follow the action to rebuild index 'INSIGHT.DAY_ACT_IDX_04'

ORA-01502: index "string.string" or partition of such 

index is in unusable state 


Cause: An attempt has been made to access an index or 

index partition that has been marked unusable by a 

direct load or by a DDL operation


Action: DROP the specified index, or REBUILD the 

specified index, or REBUILD the unusable index partition

Hi,

I wrote the code to uploada to a flat file (.txt format) by using UTL_FILE package in PLSQL. In that code I redirected errors to a error file.
It is uploading the correct data to the file, and also generating a error file with the below error message.

Upload Type: cat Error Code: -12801 System Message: 10/21/2008 13:19:39 Oracle Message: ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P026, ins.

here the word 'cat' is part of my file name passing through exception part in PLSQL code.
