How to filter data on Calendar

I'm developing a calendar based on a table that have several types of event's.

The idea was filter the data t display based for example in checkboxes, howver the region data source doesn't acept (i think) a query based on a plsql Code that return a sql instruction containing the filter.

Any sugestion?
