Form must have the ability to export

Hi Everyone,

I have a requirement,form6i based on a view it should have the ability to export the data.

Can anyone please give me suggestions how to do it.

    You can do it by the HOST command for the database.
    When you want to export the data, at that time put host command. Then you are in the command prompt. Run the script for taking your backup with all the required parameter dynamically. May it will help you.

    Pass the following code in host command through ur form

    @ echo off
    set suffix=%date:~4,2%_%date:~7,2%_%date:~10,4%
    exp system/<pwd of system user>
    owner=<User to be exported>,<Next User>
    file='D:\BACKUP\OFF%suffix%.dmp'

    u can specify multiple usernames separated by commas, all of them will be exported

    in which way do you need to export the data?
    - CSV
    - Excel XML
    - PDF
    - others

    please choose one and add where the data should go to
    - Mail
    - Filer
    - others

    You can put the user user547185 code. But just specify which format you want your export file.
