About showing the error in alert box
Hello everybody,
In forms 9i when we left any required data field the message appears in status bar is there any way around to show this and every other errors in alert box rather than message area.

Yes, you can overload the ON-ERROR and ON-MESSAGE triggers, then output the corresponding messages with the Show_Alert() built-in.
Have a look at the ON-ERROR trigger in the Forms Builder online-hep (Ctrl-H)
