HI All,
I am looking for a way to clear all cookies while playing back the scripts using functional testing tools(E-tester).

Cookies should be deleted automatically, what makes you think that they are not?

Hi,
We have a scenario where we want to to execute some test cases which involves multiple logins as different users with different privileges and test few of the web application features.
Our web application does not provide any log out link to enable users to log out, the only way to log out is close the browser window or clear the private data(in firefox or delete all in IE). SO I am thinking of same kind of feature in E-tester.

use script options - script- Automatic Action - Check first four options
-
This helps when you are running a single script using different loggedin users(user details are in databank). But in my case there is not case of repeating the script I have to run the script in a linear manor. Is there any way to invalidate cookies of the browser from the E-tester?

check if RSWApp.SetCookies works for you
-
Dave's reply is correct. The cookies will be erased the next time the script replays, assuming you have those playback options checked.
The VBA solution to call the clearCookies is only nessesary when trying to erase cookies in the middle of the script. -
Hi,
Where to RSWApp.clearCookies method to clear cookies, I tried to add this in address properties-> code view, but "Code View" button is not enabled for me. I am very new to this tool. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Ashok Chava.
