Installation Error: CreateFile error 32 when trying set file time

I got this error in the DOS environment window when i clicked on setup of oracle Enterprise Edition, which i downloaded from oracle.com . The windows keeps showing the same error and keeps re-print again and again - CreateFile error 32 when trying set file time. Can anyone tell what is the problem???.. I am using win XP SP2 having ram of 1Gb. have sufficient space(7Gb) in the installation drive........thank in advance...........VIRU.

What edition of XP? Oracle does not support home editions.

That said it seems more likely you have a corrupt download. Verify the byte size.

Are you using dynamic or virtual disk ? If so, try with a regular fixed disk or use VMWare

Thx friend, But i dont know what the magic held but , this time when i clicked my setup it gave me the same error but the process of OUI started at the evry next second..........

What did you get when startung with oui ?
I have the same problem under VISTA (SP1)
When Istat the oui I get also the same error : createfielerror 32 ~time set...
Coul you find a solution in between ß

Try to disable antivirus software. In my case it was KIS. OS version Vista SP2 x64

Disabling KIS did the magic for me.

In fact, I my case I had Kaspesky installed. After desabling it, the installation was successfully
