Since we've upgraded from 8.4 to 8.5 we are experiancing major performance issues. Everything from adding an issue, navingating to any page takes a long time and some projects do not come up at all, just hang at the page loading modal window. Filters are also not working. Anyone else have this problem? We are running it on a VM.

    Hi Sara

which database are you using ?

I have upgraded a couple of systems to 8.50 and had not had any issues, it may be a good idea to check the server.log file located in C:\OracleATS\EmpAppServer\logs and check for any errors

    Regards

    hi,

pages are taking some time bcoz they have introduced the concept of think time delay in OATS8.5(20 sec default)
you can reduce the time or simply can ommit it ,
    for this go to
options->current script->play back->script->play with think time delay between pages(uncheck this option)
    save it

now you wont get any delay while loading the page.
    hope will help you.

    regards

We are using Oracle10g. So far we have only began using Test Manager, so this problem is not for automation (yet).

Just checked the log - full of errors!

Ok you are using oracle database 10g ?

what did you upgrade from, i don't think oracle was supported until 8.50 and 10g is not supported anyway.

    Could you please clarify that

I got on a support call, the problem is definitely our db. I then had the dba perform tracing, he said he got the trace and will have to analyze the results.
