Monitoring Tomcat

Does anyone out there have any applications running under Tomcat and know how to make the JVM counters available to OLT? I know OLT doesn't directly support this (yet?). The options appear to be either SNMP or JMX.

e.g. I'm particularly interested in memory usage of the JVM and also keeping track of open sessions.

    Hi Ian

As you mentioned OLT does not have support for Tomcat, in the current version, however I think that this could be done by using the Virtual Agent and Ant, if I'm not wrong you can call JMX counters from Ant, which could later be parsed using the Virtual Agent.

A bit complex to set up but I think it would work.
