Forms Applet running as Undecorated ?
Hi,
Is there a method for running the Forms (10gR2) Applet applying the JFrame SetUndecorated method ?
I've been looking for a solution and it seems possible to get rid of the title bar but I can't work out how.
Any help appreciated ,
Steve

It's not , as far as I'm aware , a formsweb.cfg parameter. I'm trying to remove the title bar from the top of the applet. If I create an applet in Java and use the SetUndecorated method on the JFrame then it achieves the effect I'd like. What I'd like to know is how I can apply that into the Forms Applet - most likely through a bean.
eg:
JFrame frame = new JFrame();
frame.setUndecorated(true);

you could create a java-bean, let it search the component tree for the frame, and then set the required property. maybe you'll find something appropiate here http://forms.pjc.bean.over-blog.com/

Hello,
Here is the code to get the frames:Frame[] activeframes = Frame.getFrames();
Notice that returns Frames and not JFrames.

Ok, thanks for that ... I shall investigate
