My name is Bashar and I live and work in Palestine.
I use various Oracle technologies and products since 2000 and I have 14 years of experience in Oracle EBS (11i & R12) mostly as an Apps DBA, Developer and Support specialist.
I'm here to share my knowledge and learn new stuff.
The day that passes without learning something new is a bad day!
Hi Timo and welcome to the community.
Bashar, there probably little point in welcoming you as you're already an established member but welcome anyway.
My name is Pam and I'm an applications consultant (e-Business Suite) from the Netherlands with both technical and functional expertise since approx 1995. Started with the character based version of Oracle eBS (which was fast and easy to use ;-)) and now working with mostly R12 and Fusion applications. My main focus has always been custom development on eBS and now looking into the future with Fusion and PAAS solutions.
I used to think my area of expertise is really a niche thing (and I still think it is), but still I have been working with Oracle for so many years now (20) I hope I can help others with the experience I have gained. On the other hand I hope to learn a lot of new stuff here as well.
I am Manu, working as assistant Technical Manager - Software Development in a private company in Qatar. I came in to OTN for getting answers to my queries, but then i started giving answers.
Thanks to the people who works really hard to keep this forum live and updated.
Hey I am Karthick from India. Married and have a son.
Created OTN account during my college days to ask question related to Project Marvel (APEX now). Then started working as PL/SQL programmer and began to ask and answer questions here.
Why I come here every day? I strongly believe I get something to learn new every day, and I always do!!
@Bashar., great to have you in the group!
@PamNL, goed om je te ontmoeten! Waar woont je? I will try not to practice my bad Dutch on you too much.
@Manu., welcome and thank you for the kind words!
_Karthick_, me too! [FYI the underscores in your user name make you difficult to find and @ mention, since the software treats an underscore as a space and we have lots of Karthicks here!]
Now I am @Karthick2003
Hello everyone !
I am Aman Sharma -from India. I work as an independent consultant and have been working with Oracle database for more than a decade. Besides that, I am an ardent member of Oracle community and an active member and contributor to OTN Community Forums. I serve on the board of All India Oracle Users Group(AIOUG) , lead and manage the North India Chapter of AIOUG(AIOUG-NIC) and present at various Oracle conferences held in India. I have co-authored two Oracle related books and have been an Oracle ACE since 2010.
I love reading blogs(most of them are from Oracle community) , watching movies with sci-fi, martial-arts , horror and animation flicks as my favorite genre , travel and experiencing lots of different variety of food and besides doing all of this, I try to learn and improve myself as much as possible .
I've been in these forums for the last five years, but working with Oracle since v7.1.
I can be followed on Twitter: https://twitter.com/BPeaslandDBA
I blog semi-regularly: http://www.peasland.net
And I am the author of Oracle RAC Performance Tuning although I don't limit my answers to just the RAC spaces.
When I'm not working on databases, mostly Oracle, then I'm raising 3 boys.
