JRE life cycle
Hello community,
I'm looking for some help or clarity based on this article as I don't see details about the JRE life cycle. Within our environment, we do update JRE following the releases and need to plan according to releases or life cycles. Maybe I read this wrong and it does not affect JRE at all?

Hi there,
Java is now being released every 6 months with every 3rd release being a LTS release. Java 9 is *not* a LTS release, so if you move to Java 9 then you will need to migrate to Java 10 in March in order to continue getting security and stability updates (Java 9 will not be updated at that point). Java 10 is also not an LTS release, so in Sept you'll need to move to Java 11.
Java 11 is an LTS release and will have updates for 3 years.
