JDeveloper 12c removing @HandlerChain annotation on project open
Why does JDeveloper 12c remove @HandlerChain annotation when a project is opened? how to solve this issue?

What kind of application?

It is a webservice java application. The annotation is put in the implementation class right after the @WebService annotation. The product is oracle fusion middleware jdeveloper

The opened project is running on Integrated web logic server.

So, this is a WS you implement yourself?
Or do you call a WS created by a wsdl file?
Is it migrated from an earlier version?
I downloaded an existing WS app and opened it without the @handlerChain annotation removed.
However, I did this using 12.2.1.x as I don't have 12.1.3 available.

@HandlerChain JWS annotation in the JWS file is used to specify an external configuration file. Is the referred external configuration file open or accessible?

the file is under the same project and is accessible, on first execution before the annotation is removed the file is used correctly. Note that this happens only when we first open the project in JDeveloper. It is a WS that is implemented and not created by a WSDL file.

The annotation gets removed when the app is run? In what JDev version is the project created?
