List component parent/child entries

Hi
I created a list with parent and child entries.
I have the list on a page, in a Tab Container. The Appearance.Template is set to Standard.
The child entries do not appear in the list; only the parent entries appear.
How do I get the child entries to appear?

Thank you very much. it did work. but here we need to have an associated application installed in the system for that particular file. without having any kind of additional software can we print the documents. does javax.print api works for pdf files and word documents?

Yup.

Nope.

There is something called (I think) iText which can handle PDF documents. No idea whether it includes a printing facility or not.
