CertPathValidatorException: Response is unreliable: Its validity interval is out-of-date

Server Operating System: Windows Server 2012 R2
Clients Operating System: Windows 10
Application: Web Based Application (* Can be accessed via a web browser Internet Explorer ONLY)
Type: Java Application
Java Verison: 1.8.0 v291
Usecase: When a business user tries accessing to this webpage which is hosted inside the organization. The user receives a warning which says Certificate Validity is out of interval.

Possible reason: The verisign certificate used to sign this code has certificatation path where intermediate certificate shows expired on November 8, 2021. All the builds throughout the infrastructure including the server hosting the app itself has the newest certificates of verisign.

Hi,
Have you had any luck on resolving this issue as I'm currently having the same issue when trying to use Java to run Discoverer 11g and Kronos 6.2.
Our issues are intermittent and the cert I'm having issues with is also verisign.
