Oracle forms 12c only works with webstart
Hi All,
I have installed Oracle WebLogic Server 12.2.1.4.0 and Oracle Forms Reports Deployment 12.2.1.4.0 on Windows Server 2019.
I run the forms trough Java using JNLP file (Webstart = Enabled) as I cannot get forms to run in a browser.
Is there a way to run Oracle Forms 12c in a browser (Chrome, Safari and Firefox)?
Many Thanks,
Steven

You can run Forms only in the Internet Explorer or Edge in IE-Mode.

Support for embedding a Java applet (e.g. Forms) is no longer supported by most browser vendors. Internet Explorer 11 can be used, but Microsoft is ending support for this browser this year, so I do not recommend using it. I recommend that you use either Java Web Start or Forms Standalone Launcher (FSAL). Refer to the Forms documentation for details about each of these. For a detailed look at FSAL, you can refer to the Tech Paper available on the Forms product page in the Documentation section of the page.
