I have an excel file which I already fetched data to forms. Now I want to update a column in same excel from a screen which developed in oracle forms. Is it possible to update a cell in existing excel from oracle forms?

Thanks in advance.

    Your question really has little to do with Forms. What you are really asking is, "How do I update a cell in Excel using OLE?".

    I am no OLE expert, but suspect that you can simply overwrite the original value using the same code you used to put it there in the first place. Of course, you will need to know the cell location.

    OLE2.SET_PROPERTY(cell,'Value', <THE VALUE>);
