disableing an item in enter query mode

Hello experts,
i want that a perticular item will be disabled after you press enter button of query menu.(or query->enter).Can any body please tell me what is the actual trigger in which i write the disable statement.

set_item_property('itemname', enabled, property_false);

Didn't Oracle offer it for free end of last year? I got my Cloud Associate that way.
I believe sharing test exam, class material is against Terms of Service.
