Thanks Kanda,

I have download the 12.1.0.2 versions, but one patch 28259867 is superseded by a very big patch 28833531 (3Gb).

Patch 28833531 - Database Proactive Bundle Patch 12.1.0.2.190115

pastedImage_1.png

How do you apply this big patch? Do I need to apply this patch? Is ETCC really reliable?

I understand there are lots of conflicts it will take, and need to rollback?

Please help....

Kanda-Oracle

Patch 28833531 is recommend in (Doc ID 1594274.1)

Kanda-Oracle

can you share are you using  Database In-Memory option ?

Beauty_and_dBest

I think we are not using in-memory?

We only use generic cheap server configuration.

Beauty_and_dBest

Hi Kanda, and ALL,

Why does ETCC is listing missing patches but all have conflicts

It seems ETCC is "useless" after all?

Do I just ignore all?

I tried to apply patch  26336977, but it has conflict, and so with all the rest.

Following patches have conflicts. Please contact Oracle Support and get the merged patch of the patches :

26336977, 26925263, 27322338

not sure. DB support team may suggest you to go for latest DATABASE PATCH SET UPDATE .

for example  12.1.0.2.190115

Patch 28729169: DATABASE PATCH SET UPDATE 12.1.0.2.190115

Answer

Oracle just updated the ETCC yesterday to include the latest update.

Find the patch in the patches and update tab -> Search for the patch.  When the patch page comes up, click the 'Analyze with Opatch' button. That will take you to the patch conflict checker.

You need to upload opatch lsinventory -details..

It gave me details of the merge patches I needed right away.  There was no waiting.   it also gave me the patches I could download.

Thanks Imu,

I will try that...brb

Beauty_and_dBest

Hi Imu,

I download latest ETCC.

Then I run checking and still the same output as before

Can you please explain further the process you have done?

Where do I upload the "opatch lsinventory -detail? to Oracle Support?

Where do I search the missing patch?

Thanks a lot.
