SMTP setting Windows XP

440538Feb 5 2009 — edited Feb 8 2009
I have installed oracle 10g database 10.1.0.2.0 on windows xp 32 bit machine .

I also installed SMTP from windows xp cd . I am unable to configure alerts on email as it

Internal error. For e-mail notifications to be sent, your Super Administrator must configure an Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server within Enterprise Manager.

When i try to configure the same using prfrence tab on OEM console .

Any help appericited . I could not find out the answer in metalink or google either

Well written informative article explaining orchestration of OBI, ODI and OGG. This covers family of product suites and how they're connected to deliver the benefits needed for business intelligence.

Hi Michael

Thanks.

It gives an overview of how to connect the stack and make them communicate with each other. Sample shown should help anyone to do the required POC. Got a glimpse of knowledge from your article.

Very informative post Michael.

Just curious to know if there is a way to setup Golden Gate with OBIA versions that are supported with Informatica. It would be a great help if you could direct me to a relevant article that talks about Golden Gate implememtation with OBIA 7.9.x.
