In the last hour I've flagged two postings as spam. I can't remember the last blatantly spam prior to this. Other than flagging it after the fact, is there anything in place prevent or minimize it?

Hi there,
Rather than flagging, which is community based and takes a set amount to send to a queue, I'd report the post directly:
From the knowledge base article: Report a Post
Reporting a Post
To report a post directly to the moderation team, select the "report" function then fill out the information in the report window and click "send report."
A pop-up will appear in the lower left corner of the screen once the post has been reported.
The post will be sent to the moderation queue and the moderation team will review the post.
