Hi,
This thread was in the SQL and PL/SQL space, but it doesn't have anything to do with SQL or PL/SQL, does it? The threads you mentioned may be SQL or PL/SQL questions, but this problem is all how using this site, not about using SQL or PL/SQL. It would be more appropriate in
The site has been even flakier than usual, today. Maybe the problem is only temporary.
I'll try to move it there for you.

User, it would help if you could tell us what the links are about.
From what I see, it looks like the thread points to old spaces that are no longer available in the new software.
A couple of old spaces have been decommissioned and are no longer available.

Hi Frank,
Yes it was, we were building to a re-indexing last night but, as Timo pointed out, these are old formatted posts and looks like the links go to Jive.
Old Jive links will not work with Vanilla.

Hi User,
In late September of 2020, Oracle transitioned from the old forums hosted on the Jive platform to a new platform hosted by Vanilla forums as Jive was shutting down services.
Because of the old system shutting down and the new system structure being different from Jive, most of the old links will not work. In order to help you further, may I ask what forums these links were from?

All are related to SQL and PLSQL space.
The explanation is very odd and looks upgrade was not done with due diligence. I don't surprise if many users contributing to the forum left.

I'm sorry you feel that way. When the old provider was shut down last year, we transitioned all of the the vast majority of active message threads over and I'm sure the categories you followed are still here and we're willing to help you find them. However, as we warned users before, during and after the transition, direct linking to individual messages could not be carried over to the new system. The structure is not the same and would be lost in the move.
Here's where the current SQL and PLSQL subjects are located: https://community.oracle.com/tech/developers/categories
I've also plugged the message IDs into the format of the new system, I can't guarantee they'll work, but it's worth a try. Most seem to lead to threads in the SQL and PLSQL areas:

I am trying to access a thread using a broken link from the old platform:
https://community.oracle.com/message/14164492#14164492
Converting it to the "new" pattern above isn't working:
https://community.oracle.com/tech/developers/discussion/comment/
14164492Is there any way to access this message? Although I have a vague idea of what it might contain I can't find it through the search as that feature has been dumbed-down to the point where it is effectively useless.

One question we can't answer is, if the post has been posted in another community. For sample, if the post was posted in the toplines community the 'transition' has to be https://community.oracle.com/topliners/discussion/comment/14164492 (or similar).
The other root-level communities need to be checked too.

It was originally posted in the APEX forum, so it would be in

.
