Oracle on KVM

KarlAraoDec 14 2009 — edited Dec 14 2009
What's Oracle stand on RHEL KVM? and RedHat Enterprise Virtualization? Are they going to support Oracle installations on these environments?

if you present this solution to a client, there are some that still has apprehensions if they will be supported by Oracle if they found out that they're running it on a different virtualization technology.. Well, XEN on RHEL will at least be supported until 2014.. I don't know how Oracle will handle that... if they are going to reachitecture the OVM platform on KVM..?

Yeah ! I do. However take carefull, JBoss do not support Java EE 5 features on Web Layer. Example: Resource injection, @EJB annotation.
