I don't know what you bought but here [http://apex.dbe.pl/2009/08/znow-nowy-darmowy-temat-dla-apex-yet.html] you can download theme for free and also read how add it to APEX. Mayby installation description you can use with your theme.

            Hi Andy,

Thanks once again for your reply.

Their is the installation guide given on the website:-

So my question next is which installation guide I should follow from that website 1st or the 2nd one as I wanted to experiment on the apex.oracle.com/pls/otn

From both the procedures I'm really confused in step 2 how can I do as I'm working on OTN version.

            Thanks

            regards,

              Kumar,

Surely [Apex Themes|http://www.apex-themes.com/docs/installation-guide.php] should provide you with support if you purchased the theme from them?

              I would contact them directly.

              Good luck

                Hi Johannes,

Yes they have given two links with the ReadMe.txt file:-

But I don't know how to install on:-

Can anybody guide me, or if anybody can show me an example, also I sent email to apex guys but still waiting for any good response from them??? :(

                Thanks

                regards,

I don't believe you can install 3rd party themes on the Oracle APEX instance. I believe there have a been a few threads about this. Since it probably involves building a directory on the server..

                  Thank you,

Well, the previous link to the Polish website clearly shows how to install a custom theme on apex.oracle.com. Theirs look pretty nice:

That link actually uses a CSS file on a different server - not apex.oracle.com

Can you load the CSS files into Shared Components and reference them that way?

You are right. I see in the header that they link the css to http://www.dbe.pl/apex/theme_502/main.css

                          Hi Tony, InoL, Scott

So, as per your conversation you mean that I cannot install third party theme into Oracle APEX Instance is this what you meant?

I need to have oracle APEX installed either into seperate server or into my personal laptop to use third party theme.

Please confirm with your response, so that I can close this thread

                          Thanks

                          regards,

                            Kumar,
To answer honestly.. It depends on who made the theme.. Some vendors have their themes built in such a way that portions of them exist on their own servers (as noted in this thread) and some require you to upload files to the server (HTTP or EPG).. Since you DON'T have access to these servers to upload file, you can't really test.

I would HIGHLY suggest getting APEX installed locally on a workstation with 10g XE and working with it that way. You would need to update the install of APEX in 10g XE to the current release, but you then can experiment at your leisure..

                            Thank you,

I would mail [Apex Themes|http://www.apex-themes.com/docs/contact.php] for assistance as they run their own demo on apex.oracle.com

                                Good luck
