    failed to start server domain and process scheduler in the App/Batch VM

      Hi,

      after the modification of /etc/tnsnames.ora in the App/Batch VM :

          Which user are you connected with when running psadmin ? Could you post the exact output when starting up the domain server through psadmin ?
          Could you post the logfile ? Are you able to connect onto the database from there with the same user ?
          Please, keep in mind to use tag

              Please, once you're connect onto the Peoplesoft VM application server with psadm2, run of the following :
              env|grep LANG
              And post the result.

              LANG should be C, if it is not your side do the following :
              export LANG=C
              And restart the Appserver domain.
              To keep it consistency over the server boot, add the line in the .bash_profile of psadm2 user.

              Did you changed the .bash_profile or any other initialization file ? Because everything should be fine by default.

                The issue is with my bash_profile.
