How to set input paramters for rwclient.sh?
Jan 15, 2010 4:41 AM
I want to run an Oracle report via command line, however the input parameter seems failed to be passed in, can anybody please show me an example of passing input parameters for rwclient.sh?
My command is like:
rwclient.sh report=report.rdf server=servername userid=user/password@tns destype=file desformat=pdf desname=abc P_1='01/08/2010 'P_2='' P3='All' P4='All' P5='All'
I have the same question

Are you sure of the parameters names ? P_1 , P_2 , P3 , P4 , P5 ?
(soma have an underscore and some not )
If you create a Reports that will just display the parameters values :
For example, in the Layout , the boilerplate text :
P_1 = &P_1
and so on for P_2 , P_3 ..
What is displayed when you execute this reports with the parameters ?
