    Unable to start Admin Server as a Windows service

    user8742475
      I installed Admin Server as a windows service and when I started it, I got the below errors. Do you have any ideas how to fix it?

      I'm using SOA Suite 11.1.1.2.0 and WL 10.3.2 on Windows

      Thanks,

          Hi,

          there are many missing classes...which should be in the CLASSPATH....Please modify your Windows Service install script as following by adding the "set CLASSPATH" argument as well and include all your Missing JARs in it...

          -----------------------------------------
          echo off
          SETLOCAL
          set DOMAIN_NAME=7001_Domain
          set USERDOMAIN_HOME=d:\bea1032\user_projects\domains\7001_Domain
          set SERVER_NAME=myServerOne
          set PRODUCTION_MODE=true
          set
          JAVA_OPTIONS=-Dweblogic.Stdout=”c:\bea1032\user_projects\domains\7001_Domain\stdout.txt” -Dweblogic.Stderr=”d:\bea1032\user_projects\domains\7001_Domain\stderr.txt”

          set ADMIN_URL=http://adminserver:7001
          <font color=maroon>
          set
          CLASSPATH=%JAVA_HOME%\lib\tools.jar;%WL_HOME%\server\lib\weblogic_sp.jar;%WL_HOME%\server\lib\weblogic.jar;c:\yourJarsDir\abc.jar;%CLASSPATH%
          </font>

          set MEM_ARGS=-Xms1024m -Xmx1024m
          call “C:\bea1032\wlserver_10.3\server\bin\installSvc.cmd”
          ENDLOCAL
          ----------------------------

          .
          .
          Thanks
          Jay SenSharma

            The problem is that in your nodemanager.properties you have

            StartScriptEnabled=false

            Change it to "true" and restart nodemanager.

            StartScriptEnabled=true make sure that the node manager uses the startManagedWebLogic.cmd file from managed server bin directory. This start script sets the classpath appropriately.
