Once PO is finally closed, it never open again.
Also, it is not advisable/wrong practise to do any activities on back end.
A while ago, when I was searching for a different issue, I had come across a data-fix script that Oracle provided to change status of a FINALLY CLOSED po. You should raise an SR with Oracle and request that script.1 person found this helpful
I agree with both responses. Technically, you can change the PO status by updating the po_headers_all and po_action_history tables. But there's a reason the PO is finally closed and should generally not be changed for accounting reasons. It's often advisable to create a new PO for the vendor if you are continuing to do business with them. When in doubt, open an SR with Oracle Support.
Here it is : Re: cancell/Open finally closed PO
I confirm the proposed script is from Oracle Support (Metalink)
Of course in any case it is better to test this kind of solution ;°)
