My customer is interested in exploring the use of reserving technician capacity. I see that ORS supports this and have found settings in the MWM Administration Tool.
I'm looking for some documentation that explains just how this feature is meant to be used. In case it helps, a few areas of question are:
- does the feature only work with appointment booking or for any type of order?
- can there be multiple reservations attached to a shift (i.e., reserve 30% for FO Type ABC and reserve 20% for FO Type DEF)?
- typically, reserving time would be a small percentage of the day being reserved for a special type of job, but would ORS work just as well to reserve 80% of the day for a particular order type or types?
Those are a few of the questions, but also documentation that explains the settings.
