I work in a project with Content DB and I have read in this forum that Oracle does not support Content DB anymore. Could someone confirm this?
In the other hand there is another oracle product called Oracle Universal Content Management, and it seems to me that covers also the same functionality. Do you you think this is going to be the replacement for content DB?
Thanks and regards,

CDB is supported until Dec 2013 as you can read in this public document http://www.oracle.com/support/library/brochure/lifetime-support-middleware.pdf.
The question if UCM can replace CDB depends on how customers made usage of CDB. In some cases UCM can replace CDB, but no in all. However UCM is now the strategic Content Management product from Oracle.
Hope that helps,
