I have a Field ID( Char) which is 7 digits. It can be 6 leading 0's and one number or as less as 1 leading 0's and number.
Example: 0000001 > Excel showing as 1
0001234 > excel showing as 1234
How do i make the leading 0's to appear in Excel sheet also.
This is an Excel issue, not JDEdwards. Excel automatically truncates leading zeros for numbers. Use the Text to Columns feature in Excel, or use the data import wizard and define the field as text, not numeric. This will preserve the leading zeroes.

A nice little 'trick' (if you like is to simply highlight the values, go to Format Cells and then choose Custom rather than text and in the field provided type the length of the data in zeros e.g. if you require all values to be 5 digits long with pre-ceding zeros then type 00000 and the data will automatically be populated with preceding zeros and retain its numeric value which will make using the data in look ups easier.
Probably a bit late now but I cam across this query looking for something else.
