You may not have registered your adaptor. Review the adaptor ReadMe for instructions on registering properly.

            c) Double-click in the target member field and choose "Browse for target value"
            d) What is the error returned?

Check the machine profile have you provided correct information.

Have you registered the adapter?? Have you configured the adapter??

                Hi,

I have configured the adpater and also ensured machine profile is correct.

Only thing is that I have not installed and configured adapter through EPM Configurator.

Also,in DCOMCnfg, when I right click on adater and press start,I am getting an error '800401E4' and it cannot be started.

Please suggest if anything is missed.

                Thanks.

Is there anything logged in the event viewer under System for Hyperion FDM?

                        Check the Windows event viewer.

                        Start --> Run --> EventVwr

Click on System. Are there any entries related to "Hyperion FDM"

Is your HFM app name under integration settings correct?

When you configured the adaptor, did you enter a domain?

                              Hi,

Integration settings are correct,I have not entered any domain name.
                              Thanks.

That's the problem. The adaptor config is one of the few places in FDM where you need to specify a domain. Reconfigure and this time enter the domain and retest the connection to HFM.

                                    b) Expand Component Services > Computers > My Computer > Com+ Applications
                                    c) Delete the instance of the upsFM11xG5c com+ application
                                    d) Login to the application using the workbench client

                                    h) Enter the FDM Service account uid/pwd/domain and click OK
                                    i) Right-Click on the adapter and choose "options" and enter the HFM Application name into the Application Name field and save the change
                                    j) Expand Machine Profiles and add a machine profile with the server name as the source and HFM Cluster name registered within the HFM win32 client on the FDM application server as the target.
                                    k) Choose Activities > maps and browse for a target value on the web, if this is done properly you should receive a list of target members, if you receive an error what is the error?
