    Allow users to select only one value in Variable Limit

      Hi All,

      Is it possible to restrict the users to select only one value in the Limit in Brio 8.2.
      Currently if you use the "+Equal" operator in the Variable Limit, then you can either select 1 or more values from the available values.
      In other words based on the no of values selected, BRIO uses a "IN" or "=" condition in the sql.

      But is there a way to may be modify the Variable Limit Operator properties using scripts to allow only one value to be selected.
      In other words I can define where to usa a "IN" or "=" operator.

      Please let me know if you have any questions.

      Thanks.

          In the PreProcess() event, you can use script to determine how many values are selected. If there is more than one, you can cancel the process.

          if (ActiveDocument.Sections["Query"].Limits["CityName"].SelectedValues.Count > 1) {
               ActiveDocument.InterruptQueryProcess();
               Alert("Only one value is allowed for City", "Filter Error");
          }
