          Hi,

There is no default username and password for WebLogic Domains. While Creating a Domain itself we need to provide the Password...default username displayed as "weblogic" in the configuration wizard But no default password ...... Usually people choose Username= "weblogic" and password="weblogic" in test/Dev environments.

By any chance if you have forgotten your Admin Username/Password then we have an alternate to get it by Resetting the Username & passwords....like mentioned in : http://weblogic-wonders.com/weblogic/2009/12/15/resetting-admin-username-password/

          .
          .
          Thanks

            Step 1: Backup the Domain
            Step 2: Delete $DOMAIN_DIR\security\DefaultAuthenticatorInit.ldift
Step 3: Run the Java command:
            java weblogic.security.utils.AdminAccount <new-admin-user-name> <new-admin-user-pwd> <$DOMAIN_DIR\security>
Step 4: Delete the contents inside the file [boot.properties] under $DOMAIN_DIR\servers\<admin-server-name>\security.
Step 5: Add the folllowing contents.

before running the command, execute the setDomainEnv.sh file present in the DOMAIN_HOME/bin directory as mentioned :

                . ./setDomainEnv.sh

Do not forget to use the trailing "." mentioned above.

                thanks,
                Sandeep

                      Hi,

If you are using UNIX based OS then ... Please follown the below Steps EXACTLY

<b><font color=maroon>Step1).</font></b> Please move inside the bin directory of your WLS Instatllation ("<WL_HOME>/server/bin") in a Fresh Shell prompt.

<b><font color=maroon>Step2).</font></b> run the following Shell Script "setWLSEnv.sh" like following:
                      *.  ./setWLSEnv.sh*

Note In the Above script there are 2 Dots Separated by a Single Space....first DOT represents where (in the Current Shell) to set all the ENV variables...Second DOT and Slash represents "pick the script fro the current Directory".

<b><font color=maroon>Step3).</font></b> Now move inside the $DOMAIN_DIR\security directory in the same Shell Prompt and then run the following command
                      <b><font color=red>java   weblogic.security.utils.AdminAccount   newAdmin   newPassword   . </font></b>
Again Note that there is a DOT at the end of above command.

                      .
                      .
                      Thanks
                      Jay SenSharma

                          Hi,

"AdminServer" name may be different in your case... But you can find your Administration Server inside "*<DOMAIN_HOME>/servers*" ... Domain home is a Location where you created your Domain.

                          .
                          .
                          Thanks
