This really isn't that much to go on. Could you please give us more details about your block and the column(s) you are trying to attempting to perform a "Calculation" on?
No action is necessary. To prevent the warning in the future, clear the Formula property.
while using the formula so u gave the formula to wrong column which is still exists so u have to also remove that column.
hope it helps you.
its means that you have wrongly selected Calculation mode FORMULA in some other field............. check all fields in the block
other is go to object navigator > program > find and replace PL/SQL and put the partial formula that you had written before ....... its a bug sometimes formula exists in the background after search one trigger will come simply delete it.
If you search for the formula and then delete the PL/SQL formula block, the Formula Property of the Item does not get cleared.
The formula still exists in the formula property and strangely even the form runs without any error even when the Calculation Mode Property is set to None.
Note : Checked in Forms 6i.
I got the same warning after resetting "Calculation mode" and "Formula".
Create a new item, copy the non default properties from the original item to the new item, also triggers if there are,
delete the original item and rename the new.
Thanks for you replies. but none of situation is happening as earlier i wrote that there is no formula there and calculation mode is NONE.
i have searched the pl/sql part also nothing is there.
but still i am getting the warnings :)
This seems the bug in forms. Because i was also facing the same problem before sometime. And after searching as you could not find. In last i had to delete and create that item again. Then it start working fine.
thanks all i got the solution.
I opened the properties of that item select
calculation mode : formula
on formula i worte 1+1
compile the form. then go back and remove the formula and calculation mode : none
then re-compile it
now its fine :)
no need to compile in between, just : add -> save -> remove -> save -> compile
