It's no my kind of thing...
I stopped looking at all these kinds of "Dutch" invented TV, and international sold, shows since "Big Brother" and alternatives like "Idols", "xxxxx talent", etc, etc TV shows...
Time for some "Steve Hacket" revival - way more interesting media ;-)

And all this time I thought you were "The voice of Holland" :)
The Voice Of Holland, another talent-hunt show.
Another talent-hunt show you say?
Just the most successfull since all previous talenthunts, and the only one to attract 3million viewers per show here.
Which in the Netherlands means that about a third of the population is watching the TV right now....
Jep the streets are a bit quitere right now.
This is the audition of one the candidates: [Ben Saunders|http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAYiJBxHDB0]

Gladly I am not - I am babbling only nonsense (most of the time).
I will gladly take over, or fulfill that role, though, if people start associating Holland with this guy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geert_Wilders or, as an alternative, maybe all Dutch people should migrate to somewhere else and build a fence around the country that stood for Holland so nobody can get in or out, something this guy stands for any way so I would think a "win-win" situation.

Ha - brilliant.
I would opt for showing this during / between 07:00-09:00 and 17:00-19:00 hours daily !!!
...then again, during traffic jams I sometimes have some cool ideas which I wouldn't have...hmmm...don't ask...
What did i cause here ?
Just by mentioning TVOH ...
I don't know if i can supply the schema, the data itself is confidential(working at foreign affairs atm.). Will check.
Since the file can grow beyond 13Gb and we don't need any xml data, after extraction all data will be pushed into relational tables i am inclined to go for the sax parser way.
To bad it seems there isn't a sax parser on board of the db so it is a bit easier to control.

One of the reasons people should be careful mentioning namespaces on this forum...

Talking about TV series - have you finally seen it ?
Just to give you some appetite (in case you forgot):
The IT Crowd - This is the internet : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRmxXp62O8g
I just removed my reference, please remove yours as well :-)
The data was already obfuscated, just the namespace was still the original.
It shouldn't be a problem though but better safe than sorry :-)
Thx a lot guys for all the info.
Next step is reading up on the java sax parser stuff.
Step by step guide here:
It still works - used it a week ago to load 27.8 Gb of XML data in 1 document in approx 2 hours (oracle 220.127.116.11). Its based on Java SAX parser code once provided by Mark still somewhere on this forum. The code can be downloaded via the URL.
