You need to specify the return value, not the display value. Also, you don't need a PL/SQL function body for this, you can just use static text.
But if i used static text and insert there "N.N." this value will be twice there cause this is loaded form the LOV
No, that's not how it works. The default value is just used to choose what is displayed on page load. As I said, you need to specify the return value as the default value.1 person found this helpful
Here's an example...
Lov Query -->
Item default type -->
SELECT 'A' display, 1 return FROM dual UNION ALL SELECT 'B' display, 2 return FROM dual
Static text with session state substitutions
When the page loads, the select list defaults to the option 'B'.
