We have a requirement to setup a series process once a hold released systematically.
We are on 11i. We have custom table to store some portal side customer status. For customer with certain status, there will be hold apply to the order when click book button. Once the customer status changed, there is custom code to automatically release the hold on the order.
There is an enhancement requirement to send a workflow notification once the hold released. This workflow notification should contain an option to acknowledge the notification. The notification should be first sent to the person who booked the order. If the notification is not acknowledged within one business day, the notification should be re-routed to the Supervisor. If the notification is not acknowledged even by the Supervisor within one business day (from date sent to supervisor), the notification should be re-routed to Manager.
NOTE: HR has the hierarchy relationship.
